So, why did you end up moving to Texas/California? What's been hardest to adjust too? What do you like the best?
I moved to Texas in 1996 for school -- me and my husband (who also grew up in California) were going to move back after we graduated, but the Dot Com Bubble Burst (he was in computers) and I found out I wasn't any good at teaching (oops). So, we sort of got stuck. Now we're pretty happy here, though we do miss home sometimes...especially the ocean (the BLUE ocean...as apposed to the brown one) and the weather (the weather was definately the hardest thing to adjust too). I love how friendly people are here, though...and the wildflowers in spring.
